Pink Gives 12-Year-Old The Microphone, You Won’t Believe What Happens Next

It’s not everyday that you get to sing with your favorite artist. In fact, most people never get to. This is why when 12-year-old Victoria Anthony made it known on Twitter that she not only wanted to meet the famous pop star Pink but also sing at her upcoming Vancouver concert, it seemed like a far off fantasy.

However, she wasn't about to give up just yet.

Victoria is a self-taught musician with experience singing since she was much younger. You can usually find her singing while playing guitar and piano, and—with a voice like hers—you’ll find it hard to believe that she has so much experience at 12!

So, as you can imagine, when she posted a video to Twitter asking to sing at Pink’s upcoming concert and even tagged the pop star in the post, people weren’t sure what to think. However, quickly word of Victoria’s voice caught on and soon she was being spoken about on news stations and quickly went viral across the web!

Despite this, she was still unsure if Pink had even heard her message. As far as she was concerned, the pop star was very busy and may have either ignored it or the message never got to her.

That’s why when Victoria and her mother set off to go to Pink’s Vancouver concert at the Rogers Arena on May 12th, they were surprised to hear Pink stop her set halfway through and call out for Victoria, asking if she was in the crowd.

Victoria then came down to Pink’s level and had the opportunity of a lifetime, to sing for her favorite pop artist! And, as expected, she sounded amazing! Thank you, Pink, for helping Victoria’s dream come true!

Who knows what else this young pop musician will do!
