Pink And Carey Hart Share New Pics Of Daughter Willow As They Celebrate Her 10th Birthday

Although it's been nearly two decades since Pink's debut single hit the Billboard Hot 100, the 41-year-old pop star is still shaking things up in the entertainment industry. The singer, who has brought us hits such as "Get the Party Started" and "There You Go," was born on September 8, 1979, in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.

Pink, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore, began her music career in a girl band. When that didn't work out, she went solo in 1999, at the age of 20, and has never looked back. According to Billboard, she has 15 top 10 hits and is one of the bestselling US music artists to date. 

Apart from being a trailblazer in the music industry, the punk princess has also come to be known for her quirky hairstyles throughout her career. The singer is hailed as changing the game for the pop world, not only through her edgy style of music but also for her openness, honesty, and vulnerability. We can see a true artist at work, both professionally and personally.

Ahead of accepting the Icon Award at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards, held on May 23 in Los Angeles, California, Pink showed the world that she has still got the energy and talent to impress an audience when she performed an aerial acrobatics duet with her then 9-year-old daughter Willow Sage Hart. The couple took to their Instagram accounts for their daughter's tenth birthday and congratulated the young girl while sharing some sweet pictures of Willow with their fans and followers.

Pink started a family with former motocross racer Carey Hart, getting married back in 2006. The power couple welcomed their first child, Willow, in June 2011, and later welcomed their son, Jameson Moon Hart, in December 2016. Pink's family life doesn't seem to have gotten in the way of her career, however. In fact, the Billboard performance shows that the pop star and mother of two seems to have successfully integrated her family and professional lives. 

The 2021 Billboard Music Awards weren't the first time the doting rock singer showcased her daughter in the course of her work. Pink and her husband have both been very vocal about their love and pride in their children before. 

The high-flying routine was accompanied by the February 2021 track "Cover Me In Sunshine," which featured both Willow and mother Pink's vocals. Pink and daughter Willow's "Cover Me In Sunshine" track first debuted on TikTok back on February 8, only for RCA Records to officially release the song a few days later. While the duet didn't break any records, it impressed critics around the world, who commended the track for how upbeat and adorable it was.

The Billboard Awards acrobatic duet wasn't the first time that Pink has wowed fans with her high-flying dance skills. In fact, Pink has performed her own acrobatic performances at concerts and award shows throughout her decades-long career. As she explains it in a 2017 CBS Sunday Morning interview, the musician took up gymnastics at a young age, though she was eventually booted from the sport after she decided to become a rockstar.

Pink's love for acrobatics and sports seems to be shared by her daughter. On Willow's birthday on June 2, the proud mother took to Instagram and shared a sweet picture featuring the mother and daughter duo posing dramatically in front of sports equipment. The photo was captioned:

"My dear one. Little tree. Thank you. Happy Birthday. #thisisten #adecadeoflove❤️"

And Pink was not the only proud parent who gushed about young Willow online. Hart, her husband, shared a short video and several pictures featuring Willow over the years, from her time as a baby up until the strong ten-year-old she is today. His post read:

"The love of my life. My #1. The person who taught me instant love. The person who taught me to be a father. Happy 10th willow. You are growing up way to fast. But because you have an amazing mother and myself, I can't wait to see the strong and independent woman you become. I love you."

In the pictures, it becomes clear how much of their athletic passions and hobbies Pink and Hart have passed on to their daughter. One photo features young Willow on a BMX bike, kitted out to take part in a children's bicycle race. The short video features her on a surfboard behind a boat, pulled along by a rope while the boat glides through the water. Willow, completely assured of herself and confident in her abilities, throws the rope towards the boat and glides smoothly along the water on her own. It's clear that this young lady takes a lot after her famous parents!
