Pictures Of Kate Middleton And Prince William's Decade Of Marriage

On April 29, 2021, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge had a large reason to celebrate, as they marked a significant milestone in their relationship — their 10th wedding anniversary. Since, It's been a whole 11 years since their iconic and memorable royal wedding was seen across the entire world.

Their union has seen them not only begin a life and family together, alongside their three gorgeous children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, but they've traveled the world doing their official royal and charitable work.

To mark the special occasion, they issued two new official portraits. Photographed by Chris Floyd, the pictures were taken earlier this week and feature the couple outside of Kensington Palace. The photos were shared on the royal family's social media accounts. The first photo sees the duke and duchess sitting and holding hands, as Prince William looks at Kate Middleton lovingly. The second photo shows the two embracing and smiling widely at the camera as the duchess nestles into William's shoulder. Both images are wonderful and show how in love they really are. 

Alongside posting the photos, the royal family Instagram account captioned the post, "Wishing The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge a very happy wedding anniversary." Prince William's father and step-mother also wished the couple a happy anniversary via their official Twitter account, and alongside their caption, they included a celebratory party popper emoji.

Meeting President Barack Obama And Michelle Obama 2011

Over 11 years ago, Prince William and Kate Middleton had their fairytale wedding at Buckingham Palace on April 29, 2011. Afterward, the newlywed couple jetted off to their secret honeymoon location, but just three weeks later they were already back to work when in May 2011 they met then-U.S. president Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama at Buckingham Palace. At the time William was 28 years old, while Kate was already 29.

London Olympics 2012

The following year, London hosted the 2012 Olympic Games and the Prince and Princess were out in full support of the all of athletes. Here, they're pictured cheering the athletes on as they jump up with their hands in the air from excitement. 

Diamond Jubilee Tour 2012

In the early years of their marriage, before the couple had their children, they would often represent the late Queen Elizabeth II on various trips all across the world. In honor of Her Majesty's Diamond Jubilee, the Prince and Princess went on a royal tour of Singapore, Malaysia, the Solomon Islands, and Tuvalu in September 2012. 

Prince George's Birth 2013

Less than one year later the couple became a family of three when they welcomed their first child, Prince George in July 2013. Here they're pictured outside of St Mary's Hospital in London as they show to the world their firstborn son, who will one day be king. 

Australia & New Zealand Visit 2014

Getting back to their jet-setting schedules in 2014, this time they had an extra member of the family to bring along. On a three-week royal visit to Australia and New Zealand, the couple brought along Prince George, who is not seen in this photo, on their first official overseas trip with him. 

Princess Charlotte's Christening 2015

By 2015, the Prince and Princess of Wales family of three had become a family of four! Prince George became a big brother to Princess Charlotte, who was born in May. In July they celebrated Charlotte's christening, which took place at Sandringham Estate, as they showed her off to the world and royal family members.

India 2016

Despite now being a family of five, the Prince and Princess of Wales would still attend to royal duties alone on some occasions. One such time was in April 2016 when they visited India, including a tour of the majestic Taj Mahal.

Pakistan 2019

While the Prince and Princess are often photographed meeting heads of state and other local dignitaries on their royal visits, they're also seen to engage in a lot of local customs. This has included traditional dancing and other physical activities such as cricket, which they played on a trip to Pakistan in October 2019. 

Trooping The Colour 2019

In between official visits and raising Prince George and Princess Charlotte, the duke and duchess added to their family when their third child Prince Louis arrived in April 2018. The family of five are pictured here at the Trooping the Colour event in 2019, as they stand on the royal balcony at Buckingham Palace, alongside other family members. 

December 2020

As the global pandemic unexpectedly stopped life as we knew it, the Royals didn't stop doing their work. Staying vocal in their gratitude to essential workers who kept services running in the United Kingdom, here the Prince and Princess of Wales are pictured at London's Euston station, where they met transport staff during a three-day tour aboard the Royal train.

Palladium Theatre 2020

Continuing their work during the pandemic, the Wales children got involved too, as the whole family of five attended a special pantomime performance at the Palladium Theatre in London during Christmas 2020. The performance was held to thank essential workers and their families. 

March 2021

A large part of the royal work that the Prince and Princess of Wales do is to help charitable causes, particularly those concerning mental health. Here, they're pictured speaking to ambulance staff in London about the wellbeing support that is provided to them in March of this year.

Durham 2021

Leading up to their 10th anniversary, the royal couple were in Durham meeting young people who are being supported by a local charity. Their visit saw them pick up golf clubs and clearly have a good time together.
