Photographer Followed Squirrels Daily With His Camera For 6 Years And Here Are 50 Of His Best Photos

Geert Weggen is an internationally renowned nature photographer based in Sweden who has spent six years following red squirrels and photographing them.
According to his website, Weggen’s ‘current focus has been on photographing wild squirrels in a unique, beautiful and often whimsical way.’

The spectacular pictures aren't spur-of-the-moment things. Weggen had to put in a lot of time and effort in order to get some of these wonderful moments captured on camera. As he states in a boredpanda editorial:
