Photographer Enjoys Nap Under Tree – Then Cheetah Decides To Cuddle Up Next To Him

Back in 2015, photographer Dolph C. Volker was volunteering at the Cheetah Experience in South Africa. One day he decided to take a relaxing nap under a tree when one of the cheetahs decided to cuddle up next to him.

When you are working with wildlife, you have to be on your toes. It can be rewarding to work among wild animals, especially when they are ones you wouldn’t normally see, such as a cheetah. It can also be a very tiring job when you work as a volunteer, taking pictures of the wildlife in action.
Photographer Dolph C. Volker chose to volunteer at The Cheetah Experience in South Africa, a beautiful habitat that helps to keep the population of cheetahs well preserved.

Cheetahs don’t usually like human interaction and do not appreciate being interrupted by humans while they go about their lives. However, Dolph is a bit different. He has been volunteering at the center for months and has tried hard to gain the confidence of these majestic creatures. As you will soon see in the video, all of his hard work definitely paid off!
One beautiful cheetah apparently had no problem cuddling up to Dolph, licking and nuzzling him over and over – We don’t think we have ever seen such a beautiful sight!
