Phil Collins got his start in the music world at a young age when he got a toy drum kit at 5-years-old, reports Biography.com. Seeing how much he loved to play the drums, his uncle ultimately made him a more “grown-up” version later on.

When he was five, he also entered a talent contest where he was singing Davy Crockett; however, the performance went sour when the tiny boy stopped the orchestra to inform them that they were playing in the incorrect key, as The Guardian reports.

Collins started his First Final Farewell Tour back in 2004. The name was somewhat of a joke pointed toward other singers that have an endless stream of farewell tours that are supposed to be their last. In 2019, Phil Collins was still going strong, performing in a Not Dead Yet Tour.

Even after all these years, Phil Collins still wows his audience. During his First Final Farewell Tour, Collins performed a rendition of his famous song In The Air Tonight and the result was breathtaking! It almost feels like you can sense all of Phil’s emotions as he belts out the lyrics. He certainly hasn't lost his touch over the years!
