The popular a cappella group Pentatonix has been a hit ever since they took the stage in 2011 on NBC's reality show "The Sing-Off." Eight years later and the group is still going strong.

What is most impressive is that although the song was originally written to be performed as a duet, Pentatonix manages to blend five voices seamlessly in beautiful harmony.

Band members Mitch Grassi, Kirstin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola, Scott Hoying, and Matt Sallee are certainly experts in their trade and this performance certainly proves that. Scott gets the song started as he sings 'Hello darkness my old friend'.
