There is something about a group singing a capella that just touches the soul. The lack of musical instruments allows a sound to develop that is pure and uninterrupted.

A group that specializes in a capella performances known as Pentatonix took this to the max with their rendition of an Elvis Presley classic Can't Help Falling in Love. As a hit classic that is still widely known today, Pentatonix shocked audiences with how unique and precise they were able to recreate this tune in their 2017 music video.

Originally recorded in 1961, Can't Help Falling in Love was initially made for Elvis' popular film, Blue Hawaii, according to Song Facts. Instantly rising to the top of the charts, this song has been covered by numerous artists across the globe. Yet none of them made waves quite like the version by Pentatonix.

Seldom is it that a new group can seem so put together and create an effortless harmony, but the members of Pentatonix proved it was possible. Starting off as a group in 2011, Pentatonix quickly rose in popularity and gained a following. Their impressive ability to sing a capella like no group we have ever heard before gave them a unique edge over the competition.

After winning a televised singing competition called The Sing Off, this group has become a popular singing group that many listeners can easily recognize. With many religious and holiday hits, Pentatonix became a regular household name that audiences came to know and love.

Trying to cover a song that Elvis originally belted out is never an easy task, but Pentatonix did its justice. Pulling off this performance with what seemed like ease, this a capella group solidified their spot in the hearts of audience members around the world with their version of Can't Help Falling in Love.

Covering an Elvis Presley song is a difficult task that is made even more strategic with a lack of instrumentation. Using only their voices to create their rendition of this popular song, Pentatonix made the impossible seem easy. Not only did they win over fans with their version of Elvis' hit song, but they did so with grace and ease.
