Jack Simpson saw a pelican wander into a fish & chips shop in Kiama, New South Wales. The pelican was so patient and dedicated to his appetite that Simpson shot a video.

In Kiama, New South Wales, Jack Simpson saw a pelican wander into a shop and wait in line. The fish and chips joint in Australia was filled with not only hungry guests but a hungry pelican as well. Simpson decided to catch the pelican's wait on video.

As the pelican wandered around the shop, one mom can be heard telling her son "don't touch it" and many others keep their distance. The pelican eventually found his place in line and stayed there until moving to further investigate where he could satiate his craving.

The pelican took his spot in line and waited, and then went around the line and appeared to try and go behind the counter to find his food. After still receiving no meal, the pelican wandered back and forth for a while, unsure if he should still wait in line to get his fish and chips.

At one point, he even looks as though he is contemplating taking money out at the ATM. See for yourself in the video below.

What did you think of this patient pelican? Would you have waited in line for fish and chips as long as he did? Give us your reaction and let others see this video so give us theirs, too!
