Parrot Escapes Owners' Home, Cusses Firefighters Out While They Try To Rescue Her

A pet parrot had escaped from its home and absolutely refused to return to its owner. It escalated to the point where a team of firemen had to come to its rescue. Let's just say that they tried their best. ...

Jesse, a gorgeous female Macaw, lives in a quaint home in an Edmonton, London, neighborhood. She had flown out from her owner's clutches and ended up perched on top of the next door neighbor's roof. The owner tried to lure the bird back to its home, but to little avail. Jesse fancied her brand new outdoor lifestyle so much so, that she hasn't come back home for nearly four days. Luckily, she still stayed perched close by on the neighbor's rooftop.

When you look closely, Jesse appears healthy and lively. But the major concern was if she was injured because no one had seen her flying around. The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, RSPCA, stepped in and called the local firefighters.

In hopes to successfully reunite the stubborn Macaw to her owner, the firefighters were instructed to communicate to her. They were told to utter the words "I love you" and Jesse was supposed to respond with "I love you back."

She responded back alright and simply told the firefighters to "F**k off" instead. Hilarity ensued when she finally flew off the rooftop and landed on a nearby branch of a tree. Since it was apparent that Jesse wasn't injured, the firemen gave up trying to catch her and left the owner to do it alone. Unfortunately, there is no follow-up to explain if she ever did come back down.
