The therapy dogs at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School have been honored with their own yearbook page and it is truly adorable.

It is no surprise that the pups have become such an integral part of the school community. After the tragic shooting at the school on February 14, 2018, therapy dogs were brought in to console the students and staff. It did not take long for the dogs to become a much-loved part of the school in Parkland, Florida.

The 14 dogs were part of the effort to help the school heal from the devastation of that terrible February day. 17 people were killed in the shooting with an additional 17 more injured.

Research has shown that therapy dogs are an effective way to help people to cope with traumatic events. The students rallied around the dogs and made them part of their close community in the months following the tragic event.

The school's yearbook, Aerie, paid tribute to the contributions of the dogs by including their pictures. Adorable pups such as Gail Policella, Sophie Levy, Annie Sultenfuss, River Haneski, Grace Goodwill, Chief McAlpin, and Schooner Davis are shown in all of their puppy glory.

The idea started when a member of the yearbook staff happened to snap a pic of one of the dogs on school picture day. The staff then decided that it would be appropriate to include all of the pups in the special book.

The pictures of the yearbook photo spread quickly went viral. Who can resist these adorable mug shots?
