Paris Jackson Demands $600 Million From Dad Michael Jackson’s Estate 17 Years After His Death

Paris Jackson is taking her fight over her late father Michael Jackson’s fortune to court, asking a judge to order a $600 million transfer into a family trust intended for her and her two brothers.

The 28-year-old singer, actress and model filed a petition in Los Angeles on Oct. 29, 2026, claiming the Michael Jackson Family Trust has remained unfunded more than 17 years after the King of Pop’s death in June 2009.

According to the filing, Paris believes the estate has generated substantial wealth through business deals and asset sales but has failed to fulfill her father’s wishes regarding his children’s inheritance.

“More than 17 years after his passing, Michael Jackson’s family trust remains unfunded,” the petition states.

The trust was established to benefit Paris and her brothers, Prince Jackson, 29, and Bigi Jackson, 24. Under their father’s estate plan, the siblings were intended to begin receiving income from their respective trust shares at age 21, with portions of the principal becoming available at ages 30, 35 and 40.

However, Paris alleges that the estate’s remaining executor, John Branca, has maintained control over when and how much money the siblings receive.

Her attorneys argue that the estate has sufficient funds to begin transferring money into the trust, pointing to major transactions involving Michael’s music catalog and other assets.

These include the sale of the estate’s interest in EMI Music Publishing, the sale of Neverland Ranch and a deal with Sony involving the late singer’s music and intellectual property.

The petition also cites an estate accounting showing approximately $850 million in cash and cash equivalents at the end of 2024. Paris’ legal team estimates that around $600 million could be transferred after accounting for potential liabilities.

The request is not for Paris to personally receive $600 million. Instead, she wants the money placed into the family trust for the benefit of all three siblings.

Despite the ongoing dispute, Paris has reportedly accumulated considerable wealth of her own.

Her net worth is estimated at $150 million, based on figures from Celebrity Net Worth.

Paris has pursued careers in music, acting and modeling, signing with IMG Models in 2017 and appearing in fashion campaigns. She has also acted in projects including the film “Gringo” and the television series “American Horror Stories.”

Her musical career includes her 2020 debut album, “Wilted,” and her 2026 release, “Happiest Day of My Life.”

The outlet also reported that Celebrity Net Worth estimates she has received approximately $65 million in financial benefits from her father’s estate, including distributions, living expenses and assets connected to trusts.

The estate has disputed Paris’ allegations, maintaining that unresolved legal matters prevent it from fully funding the trusts.

In a statement to People, representatives pointed to ongoing litigation with the Internal Revenue Service, which initially sought approximately $700 million in taxes and penalties.

The estate said it had secured a ruling significantly reducing that amount but emphasized that the dispute remains unresolved.

It also denied claims that payments to the children had been withheld or reduced, calling those allegations “a complete fabrication.”

Paris’ latest petition follows other challenges involving the estate’s management, including a dispute over compensation and legal fees.

A hearing on her request is scheduled for Dec. 4, 2026, as the family’s long-running inheritance battle continues.
