Pamela Anderson Says She Felt Marriage To Rocker Was Wrong Immediately After Trading I Do’s

Pamela Anderson has succeeded in many areas throughout her lifetime. She has a plethora of talents as she has worked as an actress, model, television personality, and author, most known for her time on the show "Baywatch" and being photographed for "Playboy." She is also a proud mother of two handsome sons and is a very vocal and active activist for animal rights, as well as many other notable causes. Being in the spotlight for so long, Anderson has learned to use her status as a celebrity to advocate for topics she strongly believes in and has continued to make headlines with her beautiful heart and beautiful appearance.

With a long list of public relationships and even more publicity following her work and activism, Anderson has easily continued to stay relevant as time passes. She has worked hard at making a name for herself and providing a great life for her two sons, as they have also grown up and even ventured into the spotlight themselves. However, Anderson did her best to keep their lives as private as possible during their childhood.

Anderson has faced some hardships in her life but has persisted nonetheless. Anderson's personal life has been a rollercoaster ride, to say the least. The star has been through her fair share of romance and heartache, including a wild relationship with the father of her children, Tommy Lee. He is most famous for being one of the founding members of Motley Crue, as well as the band's drummer. 

Anderson and Lee got married on Feb. 19, 1995, after only knowing each other for four days. Their love was passionate, and they started a family together quickly after tying the knot. Their first son, Brandon Thomas Lee, was born on June 6, 1996. Their second, Dylan Jagger Lee, was born on Dec. 29, 1997. Unfortunately, Anderson and Lee's relationship ended almost as quickly as it began, with the couple divorcing in 1998. However, both sons have gone on to have successful careers in the entertainment industry, much like their famous parents.

Her fallout with Lee didn't stop Anderson from finding new love. She got engaged to model Marcus Schenkenberg shortly after divorcing Lee, but the couple broke up in 2001. She also went through a rollercoaster relationship with musician Kid Rock, getting engaged, breaking up, then finally getting back together and tying the knot in 2006. They got married on a yacht near Saint-Tropez, France, but got divorced just a year later. 

Anderson began a new relationship with poker player Rick Salomon. The couple wed in October 2007, but the marriage was annulled just a few months later. They got remarried a few years later but then once again divorced, finalizing the end of their relationship in 2015. She then wed producer Jon Peters in 2020 but announced they had separated two weeks later. Anderson married her bodyguard Dan Hayhurst on Dec. 24, 2020, but the pair split in January 2022.

On Jan. 25, 2023, Anderson appeared on “The Howard Stern Show” to promote her new Netflix series, “Pamela, A Love Story” and memoir, “Love, Pamela.” The discussion soon turned to Anderson’s love life and the shock jock bluntly asked the star if she had ever felt like any of her marriages weren’t right for her. “When do you know ‘Oh my God, this was a tremendous f****** mistake,” he asked. “Did you know right away?” he continued before Anderson began to shake her head in agreement.

“Right when I got married,” the star replied, laughing. 

“You knew it was a mistake when the ceremony was going on?” Stern asked. Anderson stopped for a beat, then said, “Well, just after. … Obviously not in time.” Who was Anderson talking about? None other than Kid Rock, whom she married in 2006.

Stern also brought up the fact that Anderson has admitted she may have only ever been in love once – with Lee. “My relationship with Tommy may have been the only time I was ever truly in love," she wrote in her memoir, according to People.

She told Stern her relationships following her split from Lee might have been attempting to try to replicate their attachment. 

“It’s embarrassing, it’s just a flaw, I don’t know. I feel like I just jump into something because Tommy and I did, because we had this incredible connection. But then you jump into something and it’s like, ‘Oh, it’s not this incredible connection; it’s just something else.’ 

She said when the relationship appears to be disintegrating, “Then I slowly try and find my way out.” 

With so much now on her plate, Anderson is focusing on herself. She wrote: “I live a more romantic life now that I'm alone than I did in relationships.”
