Over the years, P!nk has through and through proved to everyone that an A-list celebrity and singer like her can still be an incredible mother to two without making her children feel uncared for.

Although it's been nearly two decades since the pop star's debut single hit the Billboard Hot 100, the 43-year-old performer is still shaking things up in the entertainment industry. The singer, who has brought us hits such as "Get the Party Started" and "There You Go," was born on Sept. 8, 1979, in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.

P!nk, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore, began her music career in a girl band. When that didn't work out, she went solo in 1999 at the age of 20 and has never looked back. According to Billboard, she has 15 top 10 hits and is one of the bestselling US music artists to date.

Apart from being a trailblazer in the music industry, the punk princess has also come to be known for her quirky hairstyles throughout her career. The singer is hailed as changing the game for the pop world, not only through her edgy style of music but also for her openness, honesty and vulnerability.

Not only is P!nk a great performer, but she has always been an incredible mother to her two children, Willow and Jameson. In an intimate conversation with Drew Barrymore on “The Drew Barrymore Show,” the singer opened up about the struggles of parenting and even shared some heartwarming stories about her close relationship with her daughter, Willow.

P!nk started a family with former motocross racer Carey Hart, after they got married back in 2006. The power couple welcomed their first child, Willow, in June 2011 and later welcomed their son, Jameson Moon Hart, in December 2016. P!nk's family life doesn't seem to have gotten in the way of her career, however.

2021 brought a huge development in Willow’s singing career, as she released, along with her mom, their first song together, titled “Cover Me In Sunshine.” The song debuted on the video-sharing social media platform TikTok and was later released officially via RCA Records.

Talking to Barrymore on her show, P!nk detailed how close her relationship with her daughter is:

“Willow and I talk about almost everything — we have a great relationship,” P!nk said.

The 43-year-old singer revealed in an interview on TODAY that her two children will be joining her as she goes on tour in the summer of 2023 for her ninth studio album, “Trustfall.”

But one of her children, Willow, won’t just be sleeping in the hotel or playing around the arenas or theaters as her mom actually gave her a job. That’s right, P!nk is giving her daughter a glimpse into her life as an artist.

While she didn’t specify the job of her daughter, she said her daughter would be getting minimum wage which will vary depending on the state where she will be performing.

“Willow has a job on tour,” P!nk said. “We just had to go over minimum wage and it’s different state to state.”

P!nk’s parenting practices might be different from other celebrity parents out there, as the singer has been public about teaching her children, specifically Willow, to become independent.

In her conversation on “The Drew Barrymore Show,” P!nk recalled the time when Willow was infected with the coronavirus, and she was so worried about her.

“Are you kidding me? This is the most alone that you have ever let me be,” Willow responded when P!nk asked her if she was slipping into “a deep dark depression” just three days after being separated from her.

P!nk confessed to becoming co-dependent on her family, the reason why she decided to have her children on tour. Elsewhere during the interview, she recalled a “very teary” conversation she had with Willow. But before that, P!nk asked her daughter in the crowd for consent to talk about the rather personal moment, to which the latter agreed.

“Willow and I had a really teary conversation about this tour because she has needs now,” she said, referring to Willow’s needs as a growing adolescent. “I told her there are things you wanna do, and also, this isn’t just my job, and I worked really hard for this.”

She also went on to point out that because of her job and livelihood, she has helped other people too. But despite the insurmountable task of having other people depend on her, P!nk clarified that this should not get in the way of Willow’s life.

"That doesn’t mean that it means more than your childhood or what you mean to me. 'I’ll walk away tomorrow. If that’s what you want, I’ll walk away tomorrow,'" P!nk recalled telling Willow.

Willow is now 11 years old, while Jameson is 7 years old.
