Alecia Beth Moore, who is known professionally as P!nk, is no stranger to the spotlight. At 43 years old, she has been a presence in the entertainment industry since 1995.

Known for her distinctive, raspy voice and tough, alternative exterior, P!nk has won three Grammy Awards, two Brit Awards, a Daytime Emmy Award and seven MTV Video Music Awards, including the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. She has sold over 100 million records worldwide, making her one of the world’s best-selling music artists of all time.

P!nk was also the second most-played female solo artist in the United Kingdom during the 2000s, behind only one artist — Madonna. Fittingly, Pink has named Madonna, along with Janis Joplin, as a major inspiration for her professional career.

Apart from her music, P!nk is known for being authentic and true to herself. Her lyrics often speak about being real. Not only does this theme appear in her music, but it seems to carry over into her personal life as well. She’s often very candid about her struggles and experiences, and she often expresses her desire to be seen as a real person, not just a celebrity.

On Nov. 21, 2022, P!nk, along with her husband and two kids, graced the red carpet of the American Music Awards as she was set to perform a tribute to the late music icon Olivia Newton-John as well as a performance for her song “Never Gonna Not Dance Again,” from her upcoming album, “TRUSTFALL.”

On the red carpet, the family of five looked stylish and adorable as they all wore matching black outfits for one of music’s biggest nights. Read on to learn more about how P!nk balances life as a musician and a mother of two.

P!nk met professional motocross racer Carey Hart, at the 2001 X Games in Philadelphia. The pair started dating soon after, and two years later, they separated. Shortly after the separation, the two decided to make it work.

P!nk proposed to Hart in June 2005 during a motocross race. The couple got married in Costa Rica in January 2006. Two years later, P!nk announced that the couple had separated. This occurred shortly before she released her hit single “So What,” which left fans speculating whether the song was written about her relationship with Hart.

To the relief of fans and loved ones, P!nk confirmed that they were together again in February of 2010. In June 2011, the couple welcomed their daughter, Willow Sage. In December 2016, they welcomed their second child — a son, Jameson Moon.

In a November 2022 interview with Jimmy Kimmel, P!nk spoke candidly about the “impossible” challenge of being a mother and a pop star on tour.

“You get to a point where you're like, ‘I'm gonna kill myself, I can't do everything,' so you have to decide ‘what is this one thing I'm going to give to myself' and try not to feel guilty about, and for me, it was breakfast, and ... I nailed it,” she told Kimmel.

After asking her “sleep trainers” to devise a sleep schedule for her daughter Willow as she accompanied her on tour, P!nk revealed that other “mom popstars” later reached out to her to ask for pointers on how to make motherhood and touring work together well, and she revealed she ended up writing the entire playbook for it.

On Nov. 21, 2022, the entire Moore-Hart household was present at the American Music Awards as P!nk’s husband, Hart, and their children, Willow and Jameson accompanied the pop star on the red carpet.

For other celebrity parents, bringing your kids to work for important events such as an awards ceremony often leads to a headache, but for P!nk, the trip to the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, California, for the AMAs was one of their many family bonding moments.

Speaking to People Magazine on the red carpet, P!nk jokingly teased that her family, including her husband, didn’t know where they actually were and were just waiting for ice cream. The “Just Give Me A Reason” singer further revealed that they were actually excited about Imagine Dragon’s performance and P!nk’s two numbers too.

The pop rock band Imagine Dragons delivered a show-stopping medley of their songs "Bones" and "Enemy" with rapper JID. As for P!nk, she sang a heartfelt and powerful rendition of “Hopelessly Devoted to You” as a tribute to the passing of Newton-John in August 2022. She also debuted her new song, “Never Gonna Not Dance Again,” on live television.

Asked by the publication if this was the first time that P!nk brought her family together on the red carpet, P!nk said it was already “old hat” for them. In 2018, the songstress brought her family to the 60th Annual Grammy Awards, as well as the 2019 CMA Awards in Nashville.

As for the family's plans after the 2022 AMAs? P!nk already had the answer at the top of her mind! “Dinner! Dinner!” the singer excitedly told the magazine before trailing away and thanking the reporter.
