A 2-year-old Husky dog is extremely lucky after being rescued from entrapment in a screen door.

Gwinnett County deputies rescued the pup after she had been trapped on the second-floor balcony for two weeks. Now that the dog is safe, the authorities are desperately searching for the owners who moved out of the apartment and abandoned the dog.

The sheriff's office shared the bodycam footage of the brave rescue. Thankfully, the sweet dog was rescued just in time. When the deputies reached her, she had lost weight and was also dehydrated after going 14 days without food and water.

After rescuing the dog, the deputies took her to the Gwinnett County animal shelter so that she could be nursed back to health. The shelter staff has been calling the Husky their own miracle dog because she has already been through so much.

The shelter plans on putting the dog up for adoption so that she can find her forever family. Nobody knows why the owners did not just simply leave the dog at a shelter. This type of animal cruelty should not be tolerated.

Since the terrible discovery, law enforcement has been looking for the dog's owners, 29-year-old Daniel Ugalde and 24-year-old Nicol Moreno. Be sure to spread the pictures of this couple to as many people as you know. With enough publicity, these people will be found and held accountable for leaving their dog alone to starve to death.
