Owner Takes Video Of Maddie The Lab Trying To Stay Cool On Hot Summer Day

Charlie Ogard knew that his six-month-old Labrador retriever named Maddie was a very smart dog. He did not realize quite how smart, however, until she stole the water hose that Charlie was using to take care of his landscaping. Then, she drug the hose to a nearby kiddie pool and tried to fill it up for herself to enjoy on a hot day in California.

While she could never quite get comfortable with the way that the hose was positioned in the pool, she was definitely proving that she was one very determined dog.

Charlie says that he has had to change the name of the video several times because people complained that Maddie was wasting water.
