Owner Says "No Dogs On Couch" - But The Family Dog Manages To Find A Hilarious Loophole

If you have dogs in your home, then you know that it can be a challenge to keep them off the furniture. Lexi is a puppy that thought she could get by with gently sitting on the couch until she was caught by her owner.

To give her credit, Lexi is an adorable puppy and tends to use that cuteness to her advantage while her owner is at home. She managed to get outside one day and had a little too much fun by rolling around in the mud. When Lexi came back inside, she was covered in dirt.

Since she was dirty and cold from being outside, she thought that it would be alright to sleep on the couch.

Lexi continued to go outside and play in the mud and kept tracking mud on the couch even when she was told that she couldn't be on there with her muddy feet.

Lexi's owner soon started training her so that she wouldn't run to the couch when she came in from being outside. She was told to lay on her bed until she was clean. Soon, Lexi realized that she wasn't welcome on the couch with her dirty feet.

However, she found a way to get past the rule.

Most dogs tend to think that if their feet are on the ground, then they really aren't on the furniture. Lexi would start putting her front feet on the couch while leaving the rest of her body hanging off. Her back feet would still be standing on the floor, so she wasn't really all the way on the couch and breaking the rules.

Watch as Lexi gets around the rule of not being on the furniture in her home and to see her look of betrayal as her owner corrects the situation.
