The duchess had people buzzing about her Alexander McQueen gown at the 2020 BAFTA’s that she recycled from an appearance in 2012, according to The Daily Mail. The event’s organizers encouraged attendees to make sustainable choices and she proved that you can do so while still being perfectly stylish.

She once walked the red carpet on a royal trip to Pakistan in 2019 in an emerald green sequined dream which shimmered as she walked. The color was perfect for Kate and she matched her husband, Prince William, with this choice of a Jenny Packham gown, as per Harper's Bazaar.

Kate likes to wear practical and stylish wedges on days that she knows she will be active and outside. This gorgeous ensemble was ideal for the sunny day at the "Back to Nature" festival in 2019. Harper's Bazaar reports that the designer she chose for the dress was Emilia Wickstead.

In another moment in Pakistan, Kate wore a culturally appropriate draped dress by Catherine Walker over trousers as she stepped off a plane. The New York Times said that she and her husband "reminded the world of how very effective fashion can be as a tool of diplomacy."

Kate does sometimes dress down for less formal affairs such as this sophisticated but practical outfit she wore on a surprise visit to the Natural History Museum. Kate is a champion for British wildlife and she wanted to see how the museum's scientific hub was protecting nature says Hello.

A beautiful plaid skirt was the Christmastime choice for Kate as she visited children of families whose parents are deployed with the Royal Air Force. Town and Country reported that the skirt was from Emilia Wickstead paired with a cropped cashmere cardigan by Brora.

For Kate and Will's visit to Vancouver in 2016, she brought a red and white dress from one of her favorite designers, Alexander McQueen. The IB Times reports that she was wearing the beautifully patterned dress when they landed in a seaplane in the Canadian city to a crowd of royal fans.

At the 2016 launch of one of her passion projects, the Heads Together campaign for mental health awareness, Kate looked like a picture of professionalism. She wore a knee-length blue and white dress and a crisp white blouse from the brand Goat, which is one of her favorites according to The Daily Mail.
