A baby polar bear who was born at the Columbus Zoo in 2015 was captured on camera cuddling with her stuffed moose, dreaming away just five weeks after birth.

The female cub was not cuddling up with her mother, sadly, because she had been rejected at birth according to the zoo’s media alert. Initially, there were two baby bears but her sibling did not survive. Away from her family, the zoo staff took care of her and made her a super comfy den.

A camera was installed in her sleeping area where viewers got to see her adorable sleeping habits. She was caught on camera lolling around and sticking her tongue out. She also makes tiny purring noises that staff members say are sounds of contentment.

The video description says zoo staff diligently keep the little baby on a feeding schedule of six times a day, every four hours. It’s an adorable glimpse into a wild animal’s private life and the great work that zoos all over the country do every day.

The little polar bear lies around trying to get comfortable in a number of poses, and she is also seen twitching as she dreams, which begs the question, what do polar bears dream about? Tell us what you think and ask others too.
