Even Oprah Winfrey paid attention to the “America's Got Talent” show that had its premiere for Season 14 on Tuesday, May 28, 2019. She loved the singer 22-year-old Kodi Lee, who is autistic and blind.

Kodi had a standing ovation from the judges and enthusiastic clapping from the audience after his stunning and surprising rendition of “A Song for You” by Donny Hathaway that he belted out. Oprah tweeted that she actually stood up and cheered in her living room!

Gabrielle Union, a new judge along with Julianne Hough, was also so impressed that she gave her first-ever golden buzzer to Kodi so that he could avoid more preliminary auditions and go directly to the live shows later. Each judge is allowed only one golden buzzer per season.
