Feb 07, 2018 by apost team

Teachers and their pupils have a nice bond in every school around the globe. It is the teacher's responsibility to give the first levels of education to the small knowledge-hungry humans. Here we have a funny riddle where only teachers should know the answer too!

Ms. Harris asked Jeremy: "If I gave you two cats and then again two cats and again two, how many would you have?" Jeremy replied "Seven."

But, Is Jeremy Wrong?

Ms. Harris asked him to listen carefully this time.

Ms. Harris: "If I gave you 2 cats, and another 2 cats and another 2, how many would you have?"

Jeremy answered: "Seven."

Okay, A Different Question

By now Ms. Harris was furious and tried to change the question to see if he would understand using a different example.

Ms. Harris: "If I gave you 2 apples, and again 2 apples and again 2, how many would you have?"

Jeremy answered: “Six.”

Do You Think He Is Being Smart?

Ms. Harris: “Good. Now if I gave you 2 cats, and another 2 cats and another 2, how many would you have?”

Jeremy: “Seven!”

Ms. Harris is furious now and asked him for the last time.

Ms. Harris: “Jeremy, where on earth are you getting seven from?”

Jeremy: “Because you gave me six and I already have a cat!”
