Derek Brown is a young man who has created a one-man-band with tunes that sound like they were completed by several individuals.

In a viral video, Derek released his own version of “Stand by Me” where he sang and played the saxophone at the same time.

Using all his talents, Derek performs with the sax, some singing, and some beats all within the same song. He’s wowed everyone who listens and has many people wondering exactly how he does it.

While it sounds like he must surely be using a recording, Derek assures us that there are no overdubs or pre-recorded parts to this tune.

During the song, Derek amazes us by playing his sax only to stop in the midst and give small mouth pops before breaking out into beautiful song with his impressive voice.

How can he do it all without running out of breath? We’re not entirely sure, but we can guess that he has some pretty healthy and big lungs!

The entire performance is made out on the cold street corner, but it doesn’t seem like the elements bother Derek for a minute. We guess that, when you’re this passionate about performing, you simply don’t let the cold weather slow you down!

The video lasts for a stunning four minutes and yet, once it’s over, we can’t help but wish that it lasted a little bit longer. Once the singing ends, Derek’s wife, Rachel, also comes onto the set and stands beside him. While the cold seems to finally be getting to them both, we can almost feel the love that is generated between the two of them. In the closing few seconds of the video, we watch the happy couple walking home side-by-side.
