This month, Olivia Newton-John auctioned off 500 items at the Beverly Hills auction with a portion of her proceeds being donated to the Olivia Newton-John cancer foundation in Melbourne.

According to the Daily Mail, the infamous black leather outfit Olivia wore at the end of 'Grease' to sing "You're the One That I Want" with John Travolta was sold for over AUS$500,000 - more than double what was initially predicted.

The actress reportedly had to be sewn into the outfit to film that scene because of how tight it is, and it was sold with a broken zip.

The actress ending up raising over $2 million at the auction for her items, something she told the Mirror surprised her.

“They were stored in cardboard boxes in storage rooms for many, many years,” she said. “And some of them I hadn’t seen for a really long time. It was such a surprise.”

Olivia Newton-John has been candid about her struggles throughout her most recent cancer diagnosis. The singer broke her sacrum earlier this year but found the strength to walk again. Although this is the third time she is battling the disease, Olivia remains in high hopes and feels grateful for everyday she has.

Olivia spoke with Entertainment Tonight about how she is "doing great," despite the bumps in the road. "It was a challenging year because I broke my sacrum and I had to learn to walk again and everything," she continued. "But I am strong and I am back and I'm feeling good and loving every minute."

It's wonderful to see how much her fans treasure what Olivia Newton-John has gifted to the world as an entertainer. May you say prayers for her health and pass this information on to others who might do the same.
