When you take the time to show someone else that you care, it can reflect on the entire town.

Officer Alvarez works in California and recently met an elderly woman who needed a little help. After the people in the small town heard what he did for the woman, they offered their praises. Officer Alvarez was dispatched to the home of an elderly woman to check on her when her family wasn't able to get her to answer the phone.

When Officer Alvarez saw that she was alright and made sure that she had a way to contact her family to let them know that she was fine, he decided to do something that many officers might not think about doing. Since the woman is in a wheelchair, she relies on meal delivery services to get the food that she needs.

When the officer went back to check on the woman a few days after his call, he wanted to make sure she had the items in her home that would keep her healthy. Using his own money, he went to a grocery store to get groceries that she would need for at least a few days.

He got some crackers, soups, milk, eggs, and bread so that she would have the basics needed for simple meals that would also be healthy.
