Officer Buys Lemonade From Girl’s Stand And Shows Up The Next Day, Too - But Not To Buy More

There are several people who may see cops as being intimidating. This is understandable as it's their job to go after people breaking the law and keep them off the streets. Seeing as they arrest people and take them to jail, it can be easy to forget that they're regular people just like you.

They're friendly, ordinary human beings outside of the station and the squad car. Several of them like to show that even while they're on duty, a visit from them won't always end with you in handcuffs.

One summer day, a deputy decided to stop and buy lemonade at a nine-year-old girl's lemonade stand. He happened to be thirsty when Gabrielle approached him with a glass of lemonade for him to buy.

He accepted the glass and was told that she was trying to buy an iPad for schoolwork and games. He was impressed that she was more focused on school than other kids her age. This made him decide to help her.

He had an old iPad that he didn't use anymore and talked to Gabrielle's mom about giving it to her. Once his shift was over, he headed home to search for the iPad. When he found it, he discovered that it, unfortunately, didn't work. So, he went out to get another one.

The next day, he got the iPad and returned to Gabrielle's lemonade stand. He gave her a speech about how much he admired her trying to save up money. She didn't have much money saved up since she had to give some to her mom for gas.

After hearing about that, Deputy Zach Ropos gave Gabrielle the new iPad. It was such a pleasant surprise for her! Perhaps you admire Gabrielle's ambition as much as Deputy Ropos did.

Maybe reading this story will compel you to respond with your own story of a kid with a sense of ambition admirable for their age. It's not every day you come across a kid like Gabrielle.
