Obedient Black Labs Wait For Mom To Call Out Each Of Their Names

A video posted on Rumble shows six black labradors patiently waiting for their mom to call out their names so they can play outside.

Have you ever stood in line at the grocery store, or been in a queue to get into a concert? At some point during the waiting process, you probably started to get impatient and frustrated. No one really likes to be forced to wait for their turn.

If you're a pet parent, you know that our furry friends have next to no patience. Based on the looks on the faces of the six labradors filmed in this video, it's true. According to their owner, she makes them wait like this every day. She'll call their names, and they'll come through the gate one at a time.

As dog owners, we know it can feel like it takes forever to teach our pets a new skill. Naturally, it's easiest to do when they're young. According to the owner, who explained that her mother breeds black labs, and she kept one from a few different litters. Her dogs range in age from one to 13 years old. Every day, she takes them through the garden gate one by one. She decided since the routine is relatively cute to film it and post it online so we could all enjoy it.

Their daily routine is displayed on camera for us to enjoy. All six dogs sit on the sidewalk, each of them with their tongues just barely peeking out of their mouths. Apparently, this wasn't even part of the trick but an adorable coincidence. One by one, their owner calls their names. She even started with the dog farthest towards the back of the line, who carefully came forward and walked out the gate.

If you look at the faces of these adorable dogs, you can tell they're all eager to go outside. However, each one waits for their turn. As soon as their other calls them, they exit the gate, and none of them try to leave the gates before they get permission. We can only imagine how long it took their owner to teach her animals how to perform this trick — especially when you consider how little patience most dogs have.

These dogs behave incredibly well, looking to their owner for permission before they leave. The owner explained to us that she does this with them every morning before they leave, however, so it's clear that they have some practice with this exercise. Still, if you look at their adorable faces, you can tell every one of the dogs is excited to go outside. All six girls are patiently listening for their names.

If you think about it, the fact their owner can get all six pets to listen to her and behave is impressive. Even with the sparkle in their eyes that suggest they're excited to go outside, they won't do so until their owner says they can.

Most owners struggle to train even one or two dogs to behave appropriately. While the owner stated that these dogs range in age from one to 12, training is hard. You have to learn each dog's learning style and adapt to teach them these kinds of tasks.

Have you ever trained your dogs to behave this impressively? Or do you think that in order to get an entire pack of dogs to behave this way, you'd need the help of a professional? Maybe you've managed to do it and can give us some tips? Let us know in the comments and be sure to pass this along to all the dog lovers in your life.
