Almost 30 years ago, a nurse by the name of Vilma Wong cared for a small premature baby. The Californian nurse was used to this type of work considering that she was a worker at NICU. Today, at Stanford University, a pediatric resident joined her to do a child neurology residency.

His name, Brandon Seminatore, sounded quite familiar to the senior nurse. When she asked him where he was from, he told her that he was born in San Jose, California, as a premature baby in the hospital. It was then that it clicked in Vilma's memory. She asked if his father was a police officer after which a long silence followed. He asked her if she was Vilma of whom he had obviously heard.

Brandon's mom had told him about the nurse Vilma who had taken care of him after finding out about his residency. His parents were really excited to learn that their son was working with the nurse who had saved his life.

To have complete proof of the story, Brandon's parents sent him a picture of Vilma holding him as a small baby. When Brandon was born, he needed an incubator, inhalator, and constant poking in order to make sure that he was progressing.

The meeting with Vilma was a surreal experience. It is not common to see the person who held you as a baby again into adulthood. It was so heartwarming to meet with the woman who had cared for him as a baby. Watch their unbelievable story of fate in the video below:
