Nurse Helps Bikers Involved In A Crash, One Year Later They Visit Her Daughter's Lemonade Stand To Thank Her

Many men and women love to ride motorcycles out on the open road. Whether you see just a lone biker riding down the road or a group of bikers headed for a lovely drive on a nice day, you can tell they are enjoying the freedom of being on a bike. After all, motorcycles give you the freedom of being out in the open without the metal and steel of a vehicle surrounding you. It’s a great feeling for sure.

Unfortunately, owning and operating a heavy motorcycle can also be dangerous. Motorcycles are large, heavy machines that take a lot of time, skill, and patience to learn. Too often, men and women get into accidents while they are out on their bikes. Other motorists may not even see a person on a bike until it is too late.

Multiple motorcycles in Indiana were involved in a wreck back in September of 2018. As Daryn Sturch was headed down State Road 19 with her daughter, the pair came upon the accident that involved a number of motorcycles and their riders. Luckily, Daryn is a nurse who knew that her assistance could be valuable to the group.

She quickly sprang into action after arriving at the scene. The bikers, who belong to a local group known as the Milwaukee Iron, were dealing with a number of severe injuries. Some were so bad that they had to be airlifted to the local hospital. Onlookers were terrified that some of them wouldn’t even survive.

Luckily, all of the bikers DID live- thanks in part to the help that Daryn provided them. The bikers were all extremely grateful that Daryn happened to come along that fateful day. The following year, Daryn’s daughter decided that she was going to set up her own lemonade stand one hot day. Bryanne, who is just 8-years-old, set up on the street to try and make a little extra cash. However, neither Bryanne nor her mother had any idea what was about to happen.

All of a sudden, the roar of motorcycles could be heard coning towards the stand. The motorcycle club had come back to say thanks yet again! The men and women of the club lined up to buy lemonade, give and receive hugs, and to talk about what they had all gone through that day a year ago.
