When you picture being 93 years old, what comes to mind? For most of us, the idea isn’t pretty! Images of nursing homes and merely sitting around is about the best that stems from our imaginations. However, Queen Elizabeth continues to prove that old age doesn’t have to be boring. She had an exciting week full of adventure that included a visit with her new great-grandchild and then a trip to the horse show!

According to the Daily Mail, the annual Royal Windsor Horse Show is said to be one of the Queen’s favorite activities, and she has supposedly attended every year since it began 76 years ago!

This year the weather wasn’t very pleasant with rain pouring down throughout the day. However, a wet day wasn’t going to break her attendance streak. The Queen simply put on her raincoat and took off to watch the show.

Judging by the images that were captured, it appears that she went through a wide range of emotions during the event ranging from excitement to disgust to some that we simply can’t place at all! Regardless of what she was feeling, it obvious that the weather didn't dampen her mood at all.

If heading out to watch a horse show in the rain isn’t exciting enough for someone who is pushing 100 years old, Queen Elizabeth is also an avid horse rider. She did point out in an ITV documentary that she's more of a fair weather rider these days.

The Queen has had a busy week with her newest great-grandchild recently making his appearance. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stunned the world with their precious little boy, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. Will great granny be assigned the job of teaching him to ride horses? We wouldn’t be surprised!
