Newlyweds Choreograph Exceptional Performance On Ice For First Dance

Weddings are full of magic, wonder and of course love. They’re beautiful celebrations that allow couples to share their love with their closest friends and family members and capture memories that they’ll be able to cherish for the rest of their lives. From the beautiful flower arrangements to the stunning array of food, there is no shortage of elegance and amazement that wedding ceremonies and receptions have to offer.
One of the most memorable moments in a wedding is the first dance the happy couple has. The dance signifies the beginning of the newlywed’s start of their new life together as a married couple. It’s an artistic way to show their love for one another and commit to a lifelong of happiness with each other. Not only that, but the first dance is one of the first few moments the newly married couple shares together as husband and wife.
Showing off their amazing chemistry, a new bride and groom put on one of the most beautiful first dances in wedding history. They skated harmoniously in a choreographed fashion across a gorgeous pond of ice at Arlington Estates as they danced to “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran.
Leah and Devinder – the happy couple – uploaded a few videos showcasing their progress to perfecting their first dance on ice, showing just how talented they are and how well they truly work together. The figure skating routine took place back in February 2019 and has continued to capture the hearts of many who cannot get enough of this heartwarming moment.
Making sure their first dance was one to remember, Leah and Devinder put on a gorgeous performance while skating on ice. On Feb. 16, 2019, the pair uploaded a video showing their practice runthrough of their first dance on a frozen pond at Arlington Estates. They showed off their figure skating skills as they danced, skated and spun around to “Perfect” by Sheeran. While the practice run already looked incredibly beautiful, the happy couple continued to prove themselves and their love for one another in their actual wedding dance video.
Their wedding video was filmed on Feb. 15, 2019, and uploaded much later in January 2021 – and it was certainly worth the wait. The caption read:
“This is the professional video that was taken during the wedding (as promised). Some people were requesting close-ups of our faces, so here it is. Enjoy! We promise this is the last version of this!!”
The bride wore a sparkly white and gold skating outfit while the groom wore a handsome suit as they danced on the frozen pond. The routine was mesmerizing and romantic as the newlyweds locked eyes, held hands and twirled around together. They ended their performance by sharing a sweet kiss.
The dance videos have since received thousands of views and plenty of positive comments, commending the couple for their dancing abilities. One person commented, “You two are adorable and the best first dance I have ever seen. Many years of happiness, joy and love!!!” Another said, “Just beautiful! Brought tears to my eyes.”
We can’t think of a more perfect song to signify the beginning of this bride and groom’s venture into marriage. Congrats to the happy couple!
