Newborn Foal Is All About Rolling On The Ground And Playing In The Paddocks

Dec 04, 2018 by apost team

Felix is a very happy and playful young foal who lives with his mother, Fling, on a farm located in Peterborough, Ontario. He lives there with other animals, such as dogs, cows, and horses. Felix has a very easy and carefree life with lots of access to fresh pastures and paddocks. In these areas, Felix runs and plays with his mother.

The two are adorable to watch together as they wander about in the sun or graze in the grass. Felix can be a very typical foal in many ways. He often runs about spontaneously or bounces up in the air, trying to test his relatively new legs.

However, Felix is still somewhat uncoordinated when it comes to maneuvering around. In the video above, we can see him happily kicking and sprinting around as his mother decides to join in here and there. Felix has yet to master the art of cornering and often leans in too far when he turns, which then causes his little legs to go sliding out from underneath him.

When that happens, Felix ends up going down to the ground hard, into the dirt and grass. He starts to slide before ending up head-first on the ground. Alison, who owns the farm, watches as Felix rolls over and balances for a moment on his head. It looks as though his neck is twisted painfully and the man with the camera asks if he is okay.

Felix stays on the ground while his mother comes over to sniff at him. He sits there quietly for a moment, getting his bearings back as everyone gathers around him in worry. Luckily, a newborn foal is quite flexible. This spill only shocked him a bit.

Alison is able to help Felix get his legs up so that he can stand up again. It takes a few minutes, as Felix sits and seems to be somewhat confused about what just happened. He loses his desire to run and play for the moment. But luckily, this doesn’t last long. Felix finally stands up and decides that it is time to start playing again.

Horses are a strong and tough breed, especially when they are so young and agile. Felix was able to get up and play again quite quickly after this fall with no trouble. However, we are hoping that he remembers it when it comes time to play again! He needs to take his corners a bit easier next time.

Felix is a very friendly foal who is curious about the people around him. Like his mother, he is content with a lot of human contact and actually seeks out affection from them. He loves to play with anyone who wants to run away from him or chase him.

He enjoys the attention he gets from Alison’s family and anyone who comes to visit him. He and his mother are quite the popular attraction on this farm.

This is such a cute foal! What do you think of this adorable video? Do you love playing with horses? Tell us and pass this on to your horse-loving friends and family members.
