Lara May's loyal and beloved cat ended up getting lost in a bad storm.

Lara took to Facebook in hopes of finding her cat through her large network of friends and acquaintances. The post ended up catching the attention of a local business owner in Matawan, New Jersey.

John Sanfratello owns and operates Angelo's Pizza. Hazel, Lara's missing cat, reminded the restaurant owner a lot of his cat that had unfortunately gone missing around the same time. John felt for Lara. He wanted to find a way to use his business to help locate Lara's cat.

When John initially saw Lara's Facebook post, he was working at the pizzeria. While brainstorming ways to help the poor woman, he gazed at a massive wall of new pizza boxes. There were several hundred of boxes stacked all the way to the ceiling waiting to warm up a nice piece of pizza.

At this moment, John had an amazing idea.

He knew that his pizza boxes reached hundreds of people each month and maybe even thousands. This meant an opportunity to get a message out in front of countless people.

John talked to Lara about his epiphany. He wanted to create flyers displaying the picture of her missing cat and place it on every pizza box that would be sent out to customers who ordered from the pizza place.

Lara was moved by John's kind gesture and thought that the plan was absolutely brilliant.

Fortunately, Lara's cat was able to find her way back home before the idea had to be implemented. John was ecstatic when he heard about Hazel's return home. However, he didn't give up on the idea.

Instead, John set out on a mission to turn his idea into a long-term solution for owners who had lost a pet. He hoped that the idea would help to reunite thousands of missing animals with their owners across the country.

He took to Facebook to post share his great idea with the rest of the world. Quickly, the post went viral. John had trouble believing the popularity of such a seemingly simple idea. It was a testament to the dedication, loyalty, and love that owners have for their pets.
