New Blond Hairstyle Gives Woman Hope For New Beginning

Joan, 63, from Nebraska, shows us how fearless she is of change by going into The Makeover Guy's studio to get his signature makeover.

"If you can do something with this, I'll be happy," she starts. "I don't think I have any fears." That's not usually something you hear from somebody about to go through a makeover. Most people would be nervous, doubtful, and even back out the last minute. But not Joan.

Joan's hair is very blonde. She also has hair extensions that make up her hair to a medium length. She tells Christopher that she's been doing and cutting her own hair as "nobody (in Nebraska)" knows how to do it. "It's either white or pink, and it's horrible."
"I got high hopes," she says in the interview. Now let's see if her transformation has lived up to her hopes.
"What do you think? Big, ginormous change?" she asks. Christopher got her extensions removed, gave her a fresh new shade of blonde and most excitingly, a real short bob haircut. "Look at you!" exclaims Christopher. "Look at me!" she responds.
"This is unbelievable. I haven't felt like this for a long time." Joan looks like a totally different person during the before and after comparison. And she agrees: "I can't believe this is even me."
Sharing her sentiments, one commenter wrote: "I think you’re trying to fake us out. These two are just not the same person! Kidding! Wonderful job Christopher." Another said, "You look 20 years younger!!! You rocked that makeover!"
"I'm 63 and I feel like I'm 30," Joan celebrates. "It's gonna be a new start from here on out. A new start." It's amazing how a change in your appearance can have such an impact on the way you feel inside.
