Streaming giants like Netflix and Disney are showing serious interest in Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's newfound independence. While the buzz has been spreading company execs have made comments about welcoming the couple with open arms to venture into new production projects.
After Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced they will be stepping back from royal duties and seeking to be financially independent from the crown, public relations experts weighed in and believe the couple could make even more money from endorsements after leaving the royal family.
US public relations guru Ronn Torossian said to the Mirror that by walking away from the sovereign grant the couple can now get “any endorsement deals in the world they may want." Additionally, because the duke and duchess will not be bound to royal work, they are open to make lucrative deals and have commercial sponsorships.

President of ABC Entertainment, Karey Burke, which is a division of Disney said in light of Harry and Meghan possibly seeking production deals: “We have an office waiting for them in the animation studios building should they be looking to produce television."
In addition to ABC, when Netflix's chief content officer Ted Sarandos was asked at an event about the Sussex couple he replied, "Who wouldn't be interested? Yes, sure."

However, it seems Netflix's "The Crown" would be an unlikely fit for the couple. Harry has been pretty blunt in the past that he has no interest in the show. Biographer Angela Levin who interviewed and wrote about the prince for the book, Harry: Conversations With the Prince, said he does not want to be portrayed on the show.
Angela said during an interview with BBC that Harry told her about "The Crown," “I’m going to make sure I stop it before they get to me,” he allegedly said.
Meghan and Harry secretly retained a multimillion-dollar team to help the couple set up lucrative deals as they make their independent transition from the royal family. According to the Mirror, the team includes Nick Collins whose clients have included Tobey Maguire and Jamie Foxx. Meghan has also sought the help of business manager Andrew Meyer and lawyer Rick Genow. The team has been gathered so Meghan and Harry can easily transition into being "financially independent."
