As most of us only dare to sing in our showers or in the car, 17-year-old Louisa Johnson put her nervousness aside to try out for "The X Factor." Having no prior experience on stage, Louisa went from singing for her mom to a theater full of people, a panel of harsh judges, and millions watching from home.

Was risking being turned down by a judge like Simon Cowell worth her efforts?

After her introduction, Louisa tried to calm her nerves while waiting for the music to start. As she began her performance of “Who’s Loving You” by Michael Jackson, the crowd was moved in a way Jackson himself would have been proud of.

The teen’s shy voice even impressed Simon Cowell himself!

As soon as Louisa started singing, Simon was rendered speechless. He was convinced he was witnessing a star in the making as Louisa’s song gave him goosebumps. Once the song was over, all of the judges praised her along with the crowd, and everyone was in love with what they heard. Everyone involved expressed their hope to hear more from Louisa in the future. She has definitely won Simon’s long-term support no matter how far she remains in the show.
