Neighbors Kept Hearing Loud Noises From Next Door, So Woman Puts Apology On Door To Explain Her Dog

Most pets mean the world to their owners and they treat them just like family. This means that the owners will stick by their side through thick and thin, sickness, and in health. That’s exactly what love means to Sharla and her pug.

Sharla Wilson, along with her family, took up residence in an apartment that is located in downtown Pittsburgh.

Not too long after moving in, it started.

There were loud and unknown sounds that were coming from back behind her front door. She began to feel embarrassed and worried that others were being bothered by the events. Everyone that lived on that floor knew about the strange noises.

The noises continued to happen all the time. And, it didn’t matter if it was day or during the middle of the night. Sounds of quiet whimpers could be heard along with loud wailing at times. Other residents began to wonder what could really be going on in Sharla’s apartment. Sharla knew that if she didn’t address the issue first, things could get ugly.

This is when she decided to just go public with what was really going on.

She posted a note on her door with a full apology for the noises and any inconvenience that she had caused. She wrote the note as if the dog himself had written it. The note included photos of her dog too.

"Hello, Neighbors! My name is Charleston Chew and I'm very sorry for my howling. I'm an old man now, with cataracts, and sometimes I get real scared beecause I can't see where I am and can't find my mom. As I get used to my new place, I will start to settle down. Thanks for being patient with me. I don't mean to be such a pain," his owner wrote from Charleston Chew's perspective.

Charleston Chew is an 11-year-old pug that has diabetes and is also visually impaired. Being quiet isn’t one of his strong points.

One of the residents in the building took notice of the posted note on Sharla’s door. Megan Jones found it very funny and decided to take a photo to share on social media. It wasn’t too long before her online post went viral.
