The Getty fire broke out earlier this week in Los Angeles, California. As the fire began to spread many high-profile residents had to evacuate including NBA star Lebron James. Firefighters battling the fire were treated to some nice tacos when Lebron sent a food truck down to feed the responders.

Mayor of Los Angeles, Eric Garcetti, tweeted out his appreciation for the legendary basketball player saying, "Thank you, @KingJames, for generously sending a taco truck to support our @LAFD firefighters, first responders, and partner agencies working to fight the #GettyFire."

According to CNN, Lebron spoke to reporters about him having to evacuate his home so quickly because of the blazing fire. "It's just challenging at that hour, getting my family, getting my kids, getting everybody and having to evacuate at such a rapid, rapid rate," he said.

"You don't really have much time to think about what you can get or what you can do. You just got to get out and get to safety."

The Getty fire continues to spread and is only 15% contained according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The National Weather Service also issued a red-flag warning which means the temperatures, winds and humidity are perfect to start more blazes according to CNN.
