The star has graced the screen as she has taken on a number of roles that show her vast array of acting skills. From when she was a crime-stopping beauty contestant in "Miss Congeniality" (2000) to when she played a trapped astronaut in outer space in the film "Gravity"(2013).

Sandra Bullock's most recent role is being a mother to her two children. In a heartfelt interview with InStyle magazine, Bullock pleaded with other parents to stop calling her kids adopted. Sandra Bullock adopted her son, Louis, in 2010 and her daughter, Laila, in 2015.

She's since become a vocal advocate for foster care and adoption. When people refer to Bullock's children as her "adopted children," it feels like an insult.

When Bullock was named People Magazines 2015 World's Most Beautiful Woman she sat down with the magazine to discuss her presence in Hollywood and in movies.

"I’ve never been a great beauty. I’ve never been the bombshell that was coveted,” she told People. “In an odd way, that made growing older a lot easier in this business. I guess I’m doing it on my own terms, and that is my wish for everyone.”

When asked what advice would she like to give to her younger self the actress said, "I wish I could go back and tell myself to not worry so much. I wasted so much time with worry. I wish I could get it back.”
