Music education and appreciation are some of the most important things parents and teachers can impart to children. Music stirs a child’s creativity, making the future brighter for forthcoming generations. A musician dad recently saw how his own interest in music inspired his two-year-old son and their story has since spread around the internet.

Steven Converse of Modesto, California is a guitarist with a love of all types of music. Naturally, Steven’s home is full of music, an inspiring environment for Steven’s young son, Daniel.

While the young dad knew that Daniel listened to his music, he didn’t realize how much of an impact it had on him until Daniel began singing one of his father's favorite songs.

Writing about the occurrence to friends on Facebook, Steven told how he and his wife Jiyeon Jun were amazed when Daniel began singing the Elvis Presley hit “Can’t Help Falling in Love.” Daniel told of how he was amazed that his little boy was able to remember the lyrics to the Elvis classic. It's so cute hearing him sing "Take my hand, take my whole life too, for I can't help falling in love with you."

To encourage his son’s interest in music, Steven later recorded Daniel singing the song in his studio while he strums along on the guitar, he told Good Morning America.

Originally, Steven didn’t intend for the video to be a popular hit, he just wanted to be able to remember his son doing something special at such a young age.

Those who have watched Daniel singing are enamored of his cute voice. These viewers point out that while he doesn’t remember all of the lyrics, he keeps the song’s beautiful melody and rhythm, doing the King of Rock and Roll proud.

What do you think of how Daniel was able to sing “Can’t Help Falling in Love” after hearing his father play it? How do you think parents should encourage their kids to show an interest in music and the arts?
