Who says that parents can’t join in on internet trends? Younger generations are known for their ability to create viral videos, but now parents are trying to create their own videos involving their kids to entertain internet users everywhere!

One of the most recent fads in the world of online videos has been parents finding ways to embarrass their teenage children. If you’re a parent, you know that once your kids reach a certain age, they’re likely embarrassed by anything you do. Many of the videos feature mothers using their dance skills or lip-syncing techniques to get a reaction out of their kids, but the newest video that has come out from this trend has gone above and beyond!

The video takes place in Colorado and was executed by a woman named Wendy Chupp Gossett. When Wendy and her son found themselves stuck in a traffic jam for four and a half hours, she needed to figure out something to do to pass the time. If you’ve ever been stuck in traffic for an extended period of time, you know just how boring it can be. Wendy, however, could teach us all a lesson or two about how to pass time and avoid frustration! She decided to improvise and create her own dance routine in order to entertain herself during this excruciatingly long traffic jam! However, Wendy had her son in the car with her, and he was clearly embarrassed by what she was about to do, making the entire video a hilarious display of parenthood!

But what song would Wendy dance to? When the radio decided to play one of the iconic Backstreet Boy’s top hits, “Everybody,” she knew it was her chance to shine! Despite the winter weather around her, she decided to get out of the car and begin dancing to the song as if no one was watching! Even though none of the fellow drivers in the jam were inspired to come dance with her, her daughter recorded the entire moment and the look of embarrassment on her son’s face makes the entire video even more priceless! Thankfully, the traffic jam subsided some time afterward and they were able to reach their destination safely.

The video actually gathered so much attention from news outlets that Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys even saw it on Twitter and commented, stating that she should get back into her car, but that it was a nice song she was dancing to!
