Mother Cat Introduces Kittens To Dog Friend

Some say that cats and dogs are enemies, but this certainly isn't the case when this mother cat decides to introduce her kittens to her puppy friend. The video posted back in December of 2015 features a heartwarming moment that is sure to melt the hearts of both cat and dog-lovers. 

You've heard the old saying that insinuates the love/hate relationship between cats and dogs. While this is often true, this clip proves that old-fashioned saying to be incorrect. In a quiet alleyway in Russia, a dog and cat re-visit their friendship in an inspiring way. Bringing her kittens along for the introduction, this snippet melts the hearts of internet viewers.

As the video pans in, an image emerges of the dog and cat duo meeting face-to-face. This is to be expected when any two animals meet, regardless of the length of time they have been apart. Nothing seems out of the ordinary, at all. As the dog's tail wags slightly, you can tell the pup senses a familiarity about the cat. Though we don't know exactly how they met or what their relationship is, we can tell you that this cat has spent much of its life on the streets of Russia. We can only assume these two are old friends who have made some good memories together.

It's not uncommon for a mother to be interrupted by her children when she is in the middle of a conversation or a task. This is the case with cats, too, it appears. The cat and dog meeting is soon interrupted by one of the kittens, who has to get a sniff in for themselves. The dog seems a bit intrigued by the kitten, as the mama cat puts her paw out to the pup. Whether it is a sign of affection or a warning to be careful with her little one, the dog seems to get the idea and treads lightly.

Shortly thereafter, the dog lays down by the mama cat and her kittens. Seemingly at ease with these felines, the dog appears to take a closer look. Feeling comfortable enough to leave her little ones with her canine friend, the mama cat soon disappears from the picture. Despite being much larger than them, the kittens begin the play with the dog. Pawing at him and jumping around, everyone appears at ease and entertained with the situation at hand.

Eventually, the kittens and dog fall into all-out game of rough-housing, albeit a gentle one. All of the kittens are excited with the pup, who appears to have no problem entertaining the little ones and joining in with their antics. The video of these kittens and the dog playing together was a bit hit. In fact, it received over 10 million views on YouTube! Eventually, the mama cat and the dog being a game of rough-housing themselves, leaving viewers even more in awe of the clip. Two old pals reunited, it seems.
