This northern portion of the United States is appropriately called "The Last Frontier" due to its vast swaths of wilderness. There are a plethora of wild animals wandering around these lands.

Residents of Alaska have a unique appreciation for the wildlife with which they share the space. It isn't uncommon for animals such as bears, elk, foxes, and moose to wander into neighborhoods. There are countless videos online of wild animals wandering through an Alaskan backyard.

Usually, these animals have strayed away from their homes out of curiosity and leave within a few minutes. Some residents have the fortunate and rare experience of seeing and interacting with these animals in close proximity.

Recently, two of the luckiest women in the state of Alaska were able to witness a miraculous birth in their back yard. Sarah Lochner and Victoria Hickey noticed a large moose outside of their home one morning.

Instead of scaring the animal away, the two women decided to watch in awe. Soon, they discovered that the moose was pregnant and about to give birth. Both of the women pulled out their phones to record the amazing event.

The large moose ended up giving birth to two babies. Sarah and Victoria were astounded when they saw another baby moose coming after the first. Within minutes of giving birth, the mom can be seen cleaning her calves.

Both babies were able to stand on their own with some help from their mother. After a few hours of resting in the yard, the moose and her new calves ventured back into the forest. Sarah and Victoria wonder if they will ever see this precious family of moose gain.

The video was uploaded to youtube and has since gone viral with over 2 million views. There is something miraculous about a wild birth, and this video shows two of them.
