That’s exactly what this family did as a job and the result was hilarious. Instead of being really territorial of the home or barking at the latest addition to the family, this dog did something the family could never imagine!

When the new mother first brought back her human baby to meet her longtime fur baby, the family dog, she was worried. A thousand concerns were present in her mind. Would the dog try to bite the new baby? Would they become nap buddies? Would they become best friends? The only way to find out is to bring them together.

Luckily, the dog reacted in the cutest way possible! Not only did the dog love the new baby, but he wanted to take care of the child as well! When they brought the baby, the Shiba Inu placed its paw on the car seat and began gently rocking the baby.

Even though this pup will have a toddler to run around and play within several years, Mom knows that her baby will be protected by the Shiba throughout its whole life. As long as the pup is around, that baby is going to be loved and the baby will already have a built-in best friend.
