Mom Who Recently Gave Birth To Triplets Shows Exactly What Happened To Her Baby Bump Postpartum

The internet was recently introduced to Maria Nordo Jorstad because of her baby bump. The Denmark native revealed her baby bump on the internet and it quickly went viral because of how extraordinary her belly was! The mom to be was expecting triplets.

Maria revealed that she posted her photos online because she wanted to give people the truth about what happens to a woman’s body when she carries three babies to term!

Maria and Anders were already amazing parents to their two-year-old son Mikael. They were surprised to find out that they were expecting again. Many people thought the couple got pregnant because of fertility treatments like in-vitro fertilization.

Much to everyone’s shock, the triplets were conceived naturally. She documented her first pregnancy online and thought she would do the same with the triplets. As Maria started sharing more photographs, she gained 270,00 followers.

Maria wanted to provide people with the inside scoop of what being pregnant with more than one baby looks like. She continues to share the emotional journey of raising four children, providing women around the world with more realistic expectations of motherhood and childbirth than people see when they look at magazines.

Pregnancy and motherhood might be messy sometimes, but she hopes it inspires people with how incredible the human body can be.

Maria started a separate Instagram account to document the evolution of her pregnancy. She kept track of the development which she soon realized was quite different from her first pregnancy. At 20 weeks she found out she was having two girls and a boy.

The couple believed that having three infants wouldn’t be enough. Instead of just preparing for the birth of their children, Maria and Anders decided to throw a wedding into the mix. The couple got married when they only had eleven weeks to go before meeting their new family!

People became incredibly fascinated by Maria’s Instagram posts where they saw how big her bump had grown. She was excited that she had very few health issues, which was surprising considering she had multiple children.

Maria’s belly looked incredible when she was just 20 days from delivering her new children. However, as the children grew, Maria became more and more exhausted. Soon any exertion was simply too much for her to handle

The triplets were born in the middle of September in 2018. The babies were healthy even though they had to stay in the NICU for a time!
