Mom Welcomes Baby Boy Who’s Had Incredible Mane Of Hair Since Birth

Every human is born unique. From the distinct and striking features and character traits to the spectacular patterns of fingerprints, everyone is special in their own way. However, certain individuals have some prominent features that set them apart and leave people in awe wherever they go. 

For British mom Chelsea Noon, the subject of awe in her family was her young son, Junior Cox-Noon, who came out of the delivery room with a head full of thick, lustrous hair. The adorable baby was nicknamed "Baby Bear" in reference to his mass hair at just eight weeks.

Junior became a media sensation in 2016 after his mom shared images of him on social media to flaunt his unique hair growth. At first, there were notions that the hair growth would wane, but the reverse was the case. 

Junior continued to grow, keeping media users in awe on social media. The little one has a Facebook page where his mom documents life updates, milestones, and special family moments. Through it all, Junior's bouffant-shaped hair did not lose its volume or luster. In November 2017, his proud mom told the Mirror that at 15 months, the baby already had his seventh trim. Chelsea shared:

"His hair is so thick, unbelievably thick - it almost looks like a rug. Complete strangers come up to me in the street and comment on his hair. ... To start with his hair was a blessing but now I think it's a curse. It's so hard to stop him looking messy and he's going to spend a fortune on haircuts during his life."

Junior also became a regular at their local barbershop. His mom relayed that he would often get his hair groomed by a special kids' hairdresser, "where they sit him in a car during the cut."

Chelsea revealed details about her special baby in the first few months after birth. She shared her experience with the Mirror, noting that when Junior was born, his hair was very thick. However, everyone told her that "it would stop and that a lot of it would fall out." The mom added:

"The doctors say they are amazed and have never seen a baby with so much hair in all the time they have been working. Everyone's shocked."

She then went on to describe how it was during labor. Chelsea shared that the pregnancy was fine, but her struggle came during labor. She gave a vivid illustration of how it all went down. Chelsea explained:

"His head got stuck so they had to call the emergency people in so they were screaming at me to push and I just couldn't get him out, he ripped me and then his head got out, then his shoulders got stuck and I lost a litre of blood so it was quite traumatic." 

She continued that after giving birth to her son, he weighed 10 pounds at that moment. Chelsea also talked about some of her pregnancy symptoms. She had bouts of heartburn when it was close to the delivery date and strange food cravings. The former hairdresser added:

"Every day I used to buy a big bag of ice from the shop and then crunch it down piece by piece in a glass." 

The mom, who has two older sons, Preston and Mitchell, shared that baby Junior was the last of her kids as she had no intention of having another kid. Chelsea also relayed that her last son completes the family and is loved by his siblings. The youngster's unique feature keeps dazzling media users on his Facebook page.
