Mom Receives A Disturbing Picture Of Her 6-Month-Old Daughter Sleeping In Crib, At The Day Care She Thought Was Safe

It is already hard enough to leave your child with a babysitter or daycare worker. Many parents have to use daycare because they need to go back to work and do not have any other choices.

Once parents finally manage to find the right provider, they end up spending hundreds of dollars on childcare costs. This is probably why so many parents are terrified by what happened to Deidre and Jonathan.

One Mother Goes Through a Shocking Experience

Deidre and Jonathan received a surprising call in April of 2018. The Kansas Department for Children and Families (DCF) wanted to talk to Elora's parents. Elora was just six months old, and she was normally in daycare during the day. The DCF said that they had received a troubling photo about Elora.

In the picture, Elora was tied down during her nap. As soon as Deidre and Jonathan heard about the photo, they immediately drove to the DCF to see the picture in person. Deidre could not believe that she was actually seeing a photo of her baby. As reality set in, she accepted the chilling, terrifying truth.

Elora was the baby lying down on her face on the crib. She was tightly bound in a sleeping sack that was tightly pulled back using a ponytail holder.

Deidre was terrified to think about all of the terrible things that could happen. If Elora tried to cough up formula, she would choke. The tight sack might make it impossible for her to turn over. The neglect and abuse at the daycare center could have killed Elora.

While the investigation is still underway, Deidre says that all parents should be especially cautious and make sure to advocate for their children. Apparently, Deidre was not the only mother to receive a terrible call like this one.

This is really unprofessional and inhumane. What are your thoughts? Were you stunned to read this story? Send it to your friends and see what their friends think about it.
