Celebrating your child's birthday is a special event, but what if none of the people invited come to the party? Amy's mother invited her friends to a birthday party, but the tables were left empty and the cake left untouched.

After that party, Kim didn't have another one to prevent Amy from being heartbroken again. It's difficult for Amy to make friends because she's autistic. She doesn't always know how to interact with people her age or when she's in a social environment. However, she is a loving little girl who cares about others.

When Elizabeth Scott heard about Amy's party, she wanted to do something to cheer up the little girl. Elizabeth works at Savage's Bakery and talked to Kim about Amy's birthday cake and how it should be designed for Amy turning 13 years old. She was shocked that Kim wasn't planning a party but knew some parents had their own plans for their children.

Elizabeth couldn't help but think that she was supposed to take the cake order so that she could do something about Amy's birthday. She knew that she had to do something to make it a special day that she would remember.

Elizabeth made a post on the bakery's Facebook page about the party and contacted a few businesses to try to find someone who could help make a location sensory-friendly for Amy and the guests. Amy soon found out just how much people love her when she showed up with her mother to get her birthday cake.
