Mom Of 22 Kids Begins Christmas Splurge & Shows Off Children's Pile Of Presents In The Car

Christmas shopping for the family can be quite a stressful affair, but what if yours were a family of over 20 kids? 

This is the reality for the mother of “Britain’s biggest family,” Sue Radford, who took to social media to show the world just how she and her husband, Noel Radford, are preparing for the holidays. On Instagram and their popular YouTube channel, the pair filmed the family putting decorations up, getting the Christmas tree ready, and even the crazy amount of gifts Sue has to pick up for her brood of 22 children. 

Despite the hustle and bustle of caring for such a large family, Sue even had time to assemble an intricately decorated Advent breakfast, an English tradition to start the countdown to Christmas Day. Fans of the Radford family were stunned by Sue’s commitment, with one follower taking to the comments to write, “Where do you find the time and energy to do this?!?!”

In a clip of the family partaking in the breakfast on Dec. 1, 2022, Sue showed off the gorgeous spread on the table, which included fresh fruits, pancakes, pastries and chocolates, next to a tall pile of advent calendars. As the children streamed into the room, their faces were lit with all the holiday joy and excitement every mother dreams of. They each received their own personalized advent calendars and began opening the first day, which included goodies like body wash and toy trains. Fans were quick to praise Sue and Noel for all the things they do to keep their children happy.

“I love this vlog so much!!! You guys work so hard to make each of your children feel special and happy,” one viewer commented, while another wrote, “A truly remarkable family with truly remarkable parents.”

In another video, Sue and Noel, alongside many of their younger kids, were seen assembling and decorating two Christmas trees in the house. The trees were beautifully embellished with flowing ribbons, decorative balls and fairy lights, which the children joyfully helped put up. Once the lights were switched on, the trees looked homey and cheerful. In the Radfords' living room, the fireplace was also decorated with a chock full of Christmas stockings lined up, ready for their little gifts.

Naturally, Christmas preparations simply aren’t complete without the shopping! In another video, Sue took her mother and two daughters out for a day about town to take in the Christmas atmosphere and shop around. In one shop, they were seen buying candies and chocolates, while later, they began perusing a well-stocked section for Christmas decorations. Sue could be heard remarking at just how beautiful some of the decorations, stuffed toys and bits and baubles were while also expressing shock at some of the high prices of the goodies. 

Sue tends to get a lot of her Christmas shopping done early, and so in November 2022, she had already gone out to purchase almost an entire car boot full of presents for the children. In an Instagram story, she showed the boxes upon boxes of toys and gadgets she had bought, which included a number of Baby Annabell dolls and a Nintendo Switch, according to The Sun. 

Sue and Noel are parents to Chris, 32, Sophie, 27, Chloe, 26, Jack, 24, Daniel, 22, Luke, 21, Millie, 20, Katie, 19, James, 18, Ellie, 16, Aimee, 15, Josh, 14, Max, 12, Tillie, 11, Oscar, 10, Casper, 9, Hallie, 6, Phoebe, 5, Archie, 4, Bonnie, 3, and Heidie, 1. The couple's 17th child, Alfie, was born stillborn on July 6, 2014.
