Air travel is not always the friendly and pleasant experience that it used to be. A mom from North Carolina found herself in the midst of controversy when she was arrested after she was not satisfied with an airline's response to vomit on her daughter's plane seat.

Rosetta Swinney was traveling with her 14-year-old daughter on a flight from Las Vegas bound for Raleigh on Frontier Airlines. Upon boarding, Swinney's daughter noticed that there was wet vomit on her seat area.

Swinney did what most passengers would do and asked a flight attendant to clean up the vomit. However, the flight attendant allegedly told Swinney that it was not her job to clean the mess and instead gave her a wipe to clean it herself. The airline crew said that it was then that Swinney became disruptive about the issue, according to a report on Metro.co.uk

The crew then called the airport police to remove Swinney from the flight. When Swinney refused to budge, the officers were forced to arrest her in front of her daughter. This action only added more drama and emotion to an already tense situation. Swinney had to spend 12 hours in jail and is now facing a misdemeanor charge for trespassing.

After the scuffle, Frontier refunded the cost of Swinney's flight. The airline said in a statement that the crew had immediately apologized for the mess and were offered seats in a different part of the plane. Frontier claims that Swinney was not satisfied with this response and then became disruptive, forcing them to call in the authorities to get control over the escalating situation.

Swinney said that the event was humiliating and was especially upset about being put in handcuffs in front of her daughter. You can watch this news story to see the additional home video that passengers took of the event. Be sure to send it on to other people that you know.
